In the new Hulu series—The Kardashians, which features drama surrounding the KarJenners, one of the stories fans have anticipated for a long while is the Kardashians’ reaction towards the paternity scandal surrounding Tristan Thompson and Khloe Kardashian. However, one disappointing news fans received is that the reaction was staged.
The Kardashians: The Kardashian-Jenner Family Discuss Tristan’s Paternity Scandal
Tristan and Khloe were in an on-and-off relationship for years mainly due to many cases of infidelity with Tristan. The NBA star player has been accused a number of times of cheating on his girlfriend with various women and Khloe has always been criticized by fans for always forgiving him.
There was a cheating scandal with Kylie Jenner’s former BFF—Jordyn Woods and many other women. Also, Tristan was caught with some mysterious women while Khloe was pregnant with their daughter.
What seems to have made Khloe call it quits eventually was when the Basketballer admitted to being the father of Maralee Nichols’ son. Although he had initially denied paternity of the child even when lawsuits came up, when a paternity test was done it was confirmed that he was the father. Surprisingly, the Kardashian kept quiet through this which made fans believe it would be addressed on the Hulu show and it was.
The response of the KarJenners was recently shown on the final season of the show. Fans believe they waited a few weeks to shoot the scene based on the outfit Kourtney Kardashian was putting on. The scandal happened in late November or early December; however Kourtney’s outfit reveals that the meeting was filmed in late January which was weeks after Tristan admitted to being the father of the child.
Some other fans noted that it would explain why the family’s reaction lacked emotion on the show. Fans now believe that the decision to sit down and discuss the scandal was for them to garner viewers and this would not be the first time the KarJenners would be accused of doing so. “I wish they had stuck to a real timeline rather than jumble it around and have a good final episode,” one Redditor said and many agreed.
