Kim Kardashian Waited Six Months Before Introducing Pete Davidson To Her Kids Following Her ‘Therapists’ Advice
This is hardly a surprise given the reaction her ex Kanye West had shown towards the prospect of Pete being close to his children.
He had claimed that he did not want the comedian anywhere near his children on the basis of a prior joke he made about having sex with babies.
But given that things between Kim and Pete were getting more serious, there was bound to be a time where they would meet him. And now that this has been done, Kim opened up on the circumstances surrounding the meetings.
In an interview on the “Today” show, she said: “I consulted with a few therapists and friends that have been through it. I definitely wanted to wait six months.
“That was the marker. You just have to do what’s right and try to be as respectful and cautious as possible.” And by the looks of it, things have worked out very well indeed.
First of all, Kim and Kanye have managed to stay on good terms for the sake of co-parenting. This was recently seen when they were both pictured watching their daughter North’s basketball game.
In addition, Pete has had the opportunity to bond with her kids too. He has been seen hanging around with North, as well as going to Walmart with Saint. And given the struggles that Kim has been through, she was happy just to be doing well.
In some prior comments, she remarked: “I waited a good 10 months before I was ready to open myself up. I think you definitely need that time to yourself.”
Despite Kim feeling in a good place, the fans were not happy with how fast things were moving. And in the process of doing so, they suggested that Kim was not taking her time.
One person wrote: “Six months?! So he got their initials tattooed on him immediately after meeting them? Something isn’t adding up, ma’am.”
