Forget everything you knew about Fabian Aichner during his time with Imperium, as he’s starting the new stage of his career tonight. Under the new name of Giovanni Vinci, we are about to see the dominance of him as a singles superstar, something which fans have wanted to see for years. Young Guru Raaj will be his debut opponent under this name, and could potentially pull out an upset win here tonight.
Giovanni Vinci Makes His Impact
Vinci would start off quick with a takedown, before applying an armbar. Raaj broke free before Vinci hit the ropes for some insane speed with a shoulder tackle. A dropkick didn’t even make Vinci flinch, before a springboard crossbody.
Some fast chops in the corner cut at the chest of Raaj before a big lariat. Powerbomb would follow, and that’s it for the debut match of Giovanni Vinci. Dominance and style, all in one package. Commentary would explain his past is in the rear view mirror of his Ferrari – explaining his split from Imperium.
Carmelo Hayes Shoots, And He Don’t Miss
Tony D’Angelo has made something crystal clear after absorbing Legado Del Fantasma into his gang – and that is he wants some gold around his waist. Knowing better than to try and step up Bron Breakker, D’Angelo has instead targeted the NXT North American Champion, Carmelo Hayes. Tonight, the goons of D’Angelo will take on Hayes & Trick Williams, as Channing ‘Stacks’ Lorenzo & Troy ‘Two Dimes’ Donovan show Legado Del Fantasma what a real tag team looks like.
Trick would start up this match with Two Dimes, and took a knee to the midsection. Stacks tagged in, hitting some heavy handed punches to the face. Hayes got the tag, but was distracted on the springboard before being sent to the floor. Two Dimes & Stacks would stomp him into the corner, before Hayes would manage the lariat.
Hayes would get a few moments on top before Two Stacks hit the lariat and bent him around his knee. Stacks went for an elbow strike, but Hayes dodged. Hayes would get the tag to Trick who hit a flying shoulder tackle. Del Toro tried to help, but got Two Dimes instead. Hayes hit the flying leg drop, and this one was over.
Toxic Attraction Gets Beat
Toxic Attraction have held an iron grip on the NXT Women’s division for a while now, but finally a trio that could threaten them has stepped up. Roxanne Perez has a title shot in her back pocket after winning the NXT Women’s Breakout Tournament, and has Cora Jade & Indi Hartwell to back her up. Now tonight, they will look to take out Toxic Attraction in trios action, perhaps just stage one of their plans.
Rose & Jade would start this match up, but Rose would cower in the ropes before tagging in Jayne. A shoulder tackle from Jayne would miss, before Jade would get a roll up for a two count. Jayne got the upper hand, only for Rose to tag in – before taking an arm drag.
Indi Hartwell would tag in, before Rose was dropped with a tilt-a-whirl slam for a one count. Rose fled the ring before a six woman brawl kicked off in the ring. Throughout the break, Dolin would get isolated in the ring – but got a tag to Jayne as we came back to full screen.
Roxanne would get a near fall off a roll up, before being dropped with a forearm smash and running senton. Hartwell would tag in alongside Rose, and would nail some clubbing blows. Jade would tag in to hit the foot stomp to the back, before being hit with the spinebuster.
Dolin hit a roundhouse kick, before Roxanne would hit the Russian Leg Sweep for a two count. Hartwell took Rose from the ring, before being pulled to the outside. Jade hit the flying senton, before Roxanne got the pinfall for the win.
