Conor McGregor never failed a drug test. He has been in the pool of testing athletes of the USADA since the very beginning of his professional career as an MMA fighter.
The Notorious totals at something above 60 testings since the United States Anti-Doping Agency is implemented as a routine check-in the MMA sport. However, this year, despite being passed more than half, he hasn’t shown up to test himself.
Did Conor McGregor Pull Out Of Drug Testing Program?
His long-time nemesis and one of his greatest rivals, Tony Ferguson thinks that this situation is hiding something behind it. He says that there is a considerable enhancement in Conor McGregor’s looks and physique. And we can witness that in the training photos and videos by the Irishman.
Conor McGregor suffered a broken limb past year and has been recovering ever since. By recovering we mean traveling the world and enjoying his riches. Over the past 12 months, he traveled across the globe, visiting some sounding places such as Rome, New York, Cannes, Monte Carlo, California, Dublin, and Miami.
According to Tony Ferguson, there is a reason why McGregor travels the world without taking a break. It’s because that way, USADA representatives cannot track him down to make a test on him.
“I don’t think he’s been in the testing pool for USADA for about five or six months.” Ferguson says for the Schmo. “He’s been on a boat. But I’m the real BOAT – That’s the Best Of All Time, motherf*ckers.”
“So, when it comes down to it, GOATs come and go, BOATs stay afloat. Conor McGregor, he’s out there on the boat, so no motherf*ckers can get to him.”
Ferguson was once a respectable fighter. Respectable and feared. However now, over the course of several years, his fighting is getting worse and worse. He lost four consecutive bouts since 2020, including the iconic loss from Michael Chandler back in May. He got knocked out by a front kick in the face and the snapshot of his face at the moment of the blow became a popular meme spreading on social media.
McGregor is not better than Tony Ferguson looking from the win-loss perspective. Since 2016, Conor has had a record of 1-3-0. These losses include the last one to Dustin Poirier as well. The bout where McGregor lost his leg and because of which he took a long break.
And this is why Tony Ferguson considers himself the perfect match for Conor McGregor.
What do you think? Would Tony be a good match for Conor McGregor? Does he stand any chance of winning?
