Joe Rogan is not a man that wants to suit up and look all flashy and expensive. He usually wears a black T-shirt and is dressed casually. However, what made the commentator do this sudden change in style is still not known.
UFC 276 had two extremely important fights on its fight card. Both the middleweight and the featherweight titles were on the line. The fights turned out to be a great watching experience. Well, the one more than the other. But it is what it is. According to critics, the middleweight title fight was a bit dull.
Joe Rogan Wears A Suit While Commenting On UFC 276, Fans React To It
For the featherweight title, Alexander Volkanovski fought Max Holloway for the third time, and for a third consecutive time he beat him up with ease. The Volk won the fight by decision, Max somehow managed to last the five long rounds, but Volk’s performance was unquestionably better.
Joe Rogan is a part of the UFC for many years. Almost since the very beginning of the promotion. As usual, when a title is at stake, he shows up on the commentary team and delivers some great color commentating.
However, this time he shocks the public by wearing a shirt, suit, and tie. Joe Rogan wearing a tie! As unusual as it may sound it did happen.
Joe Rogan is a person that does and says everything he feels like doing or saying. He is famous for not having ‘hair on his tongue’. Nobody can force him into doing or saying things. Doing things such as wearing a completely official outfit for example.
During, and after the event, fans and followers of both UFC and Joe Rogan went crazy. They light the internet up on fire with comments on Joe’s outfit.
“Can someone explain why Joe Rogan is wearing a suit and a tie?” – one comment says. “Joe Rogan wearing a suit and a tie is bizarre. Please get back to the black button-up. I’m freaking out!” – another one adds.
“Doesn’t Joe Rogan wearing a suit to a UFC event look awkward? I’m so used to seeing that man in them black shirts and black trousers” – the third one comments.
These comments are ‘never ending’, but Joe is still not coming out and revealing the real reason behind his suiting up. He will reveal this on his podcast. At least that is what his fans are expecting.
Could it be that Dana White presented a dress code for the commentary team? Or maybe he simply thought of changing things a bit?
Whatever it is, his commenting once again was on point and was a real sensation for hearing. Without it, the UFC events are not delivering that ‘completeness’ feeling.
