PEOPLE shared an exclusive sneak peek MBFFL’ season 10 trailer, and viewers see that 38-year-old Whitney is trying to find a balance between her career and personal life as she hires her ex-boyfriend, Lennie to assist her with filming an online fitness video.
My Big Fat Fabulous Life: Whitney Thore’s Mum Suffers Health Problem
Even though Whitney’s friends are worried about the decision, the TLC star said she wouldn’t find it difficult to keep things professional with her ex-lover. During a confessional, she said “Some people might think that hanging onto an ex is a slippery slope. I might fall on my ass but I won’t fall for Lennie.”
However, during a trip to Saint Lucia, her brother, Hunter, quickly points out her jealousy whenever she sees him getting close to another woman. The clip shows Whitney questioning Lennie as to why he wanted to dance with another woman instead of her. Whitney says, “Lennie can do what he wants, I’m not jealous,” then her best friend, Tal Fish sarcastically adds, “Whitney, tell me more about how you’re not jealous.”
Whle the My Big Fat Fabulous Life star returns from vacation, her family has a lot to deal with as her mother suffers a stroke and struggles with an uncertain recovery. In a confessional, Whitney says that her family has “no idea what her prognosis is.”
She is seen crying in her car as she talks to her father on the phone. She says, “I just don’t want her to suffer,” he then responds, “I can’t believe she’s taken a turn for the worse.” During a confessional, a tearful Whitney says, “I saw my mom today and this is really it.”
My Big Fat Fabulous Life Season 10 premieres on Tuesday, August 9, at 10 pm ET/PT on TLC. Fans can also watch it on discovery+ the same day.
