Salem is about to enter into a dark crime period, and things have the potential to get a lot worse before they get better.

‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers Tuesday, July 26: Stepping up
Crossing paths with a mugger twice in one day wasn’t in Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan)’s plans, but Salem has a way of messing those plans up, and now he’s going to try to save Nicole Walker (Adrianne Zucker) from the mugger.
We have a lot of faith in him and he may be able to pull it off, but things won’t end there.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers Tuesday, July 26: Jake’s time
Jake Lambert (Brandon Barish) will buy Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) an engagement ring and the two will be on top of the world.
Which means this is the perfect time for the Salem curse to spring into action.
It’d be nice if the writers would give us a couple of marriages or events without things going horribly wrong, and this time it’s happening before the wedding can even be talked about.
NBC “Days of Our Lives” Spoilers aren’t sure if it’ll be in this episode or setting the stage, but after Eric is able to save Nicole, Ava and Jake will cross the mugger’s path.
Unfortunately, Jake will try to stop him and he’ll take a bullet to the stomach for his trouble. We’ve been warned to expect another death, and it appears Jake’s time is coming.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers Tuesday, July 26: Kristen in charge
Few saw Kristen DiMera (Stacey Haiduk) taking over Basic Black, but once Gabi DiMera (Camilla Banus) gave her the division it was only a matter of time until she made her presence known.
And now that she has, Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) and Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) aren’t going to be happy with the hand they’re dealt.
They’re going to try to fight her taking over and becoming their boss, but they won’t have much luck and Kristen will enjoy her time thoroughly
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers Tuesday, July 26: Alex Kiriakis returns
There’s nothing like seeing new and old characters have an introduction, and Sonny Kiriakis (Zach Tinker) will walk into the Kiriakis mansion to find his brother there working out.
Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) will have a cool reunion and make a joke or two about resembling the Neck Tie Killer.
This will be a fun scene and we’re glad to see Robert’s back and it looks like he’s having fun.
