Henry Cejudo doesn’t know what he is doing. He is on the constant ‘hunt’ for an opponent but still hasn’t come back to the UFC. He is active on social media, but not so much with training and arranging flights.
His latest gaffe is his interrupting of Sean O’Malley’s interview after the UFC 276 fight. Sean O’Malley did not wait but fired to the ex-champion directly without hesitation. Amongst other things, he called him ‘fat’ and ‘drunk’.
Sean O’Malley Insults Henry Cejudo – He’s Fat And Drunk
O’Malley is a contender for the opening fight for the UFC 276, which ended up unluckily for both fighters and was judged a no-contest. Sean O’Malley incidentally poked his opponent Pedro Munhoz in the eye and the fight was stopped.
But, Sean O’Malley says that he is confident in himself and he is sure that he got the fight despite the result. He considers this a pure win. While speaking about it, Henry Cejudo came into the screen and started insulting the rainbow-haired fighter.
“I’d love a tune-up. What do you say, Precious?” said Cejudo. “I’m good to go. When would you want to bend the knee, at what time?” – Cejudo says. “Because I think you absolutely suck. Go on, carry on with the interview, go ahead.”
However, after saying this by taking ‘the stand’ in front of the camera nobody registered Cejudo at all. Then O’Malley just spits a comment and continued his interview. He says that Cejudo is not a serious fighter. After the interview, at the press conference, O’Malley got a question regarding the incident, and that is when he referred to it more seriously. He returned with the same measure. He called Cejudo fat, drunk, and on drugs.
“That little fat ass should stay retired,” O’Malley says. “He’s running around drunk in backstage, got escorted out, he was tripping over things, running into things.”
“Looks like he’s on drugs. Looks fat. I don’t know if he’s having a mid-life crisis or what. He mumbled some words like that, is anyone realistic? Does Henry come back? He looks fat as shit, what, does he want to fight in three years?”
Henry Cejudo is a former UFC champion in two divisions. At one point in his career, he had a grasp over two titles in the UFC. He had the flyweight title back in 2018 and the bantamweight title in 2019. Then, back in 2019 he was the fourth person to achieve this.
He got ‘retired’ back in 2020 after he beat Dominick Cruz and defended the bantamweight title, but he is on a constant rampage over social media calling out fighters every now and then. It is obvious that he wants to get back in the promotion.
Dana White, however, has made it clear. He doesn’t want Cejudo in the UFC anymore. He says that his time is over. That he moved on from him a long time ago.
