With so many promotions and events, it’s expected we’ll see different stars stop by to view the action, and this week at UFC 276 both the top brass in WWE and AEW attended the event.
UFC 276 and WWE Money in the Bank were both in Las Vegas, so seeing Vince McMahon, Stephanie McMahon, Triple H (Paul Levesque), and Nick Kahn were spotted, with Pat McAfee joining them while sporting a neck brace to sell Happy Corbin’s attack.
It’s an odd mix in many ways considering the power structure and McAfee has stated his deal works out to where he basically shows up, does his job, and leaves without a great deal of behind the scenes knowledge.
That doesn’t mean he wouldn’t go with them to an event like this, but it’s raised some eyebrows as to how much in favor Vince holds him.

Some fans pointed out McAfee’s kayfabe status going further than some wrestlers with the neckbrace, and he drew some comparisons to Andy Kaufman.
More than one
What’s really cool about this is AEW’s owner Tony Kahn was also seen there with Jim Ross.
It’s not a surprise they were there either as they’ve been at other events, and there’s always the possibility that they’re their to look at potential talent.
The same can be said for Vince and company, as having the owners of the two biggest wrestling companies in the US there to recruit could do wonders.
Or they were the just to enjoy themselves.

There was another pretty cool wrestling based crossover of sorts as UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya came out in an Undertaker inspired entrance.
Everything was included with the entrance music, hat, fog, run, and even brightening the lights when he raised his arms.
Adesanya successfully defending his title was the perfect ending, and it’s led to some speculating on a possible future in the WWE for him when he decides to move on from the UFC.
Staged photo op?
There’s plenty of room for speculation and conspiracy theories with so many high profile guests in attendance, and one is this was staged by Vince McMahon.
Since he stepped down as CEO while the investigation from his alleged paying hush money to a former intern following their affair is being investigated, he’s made a point to be on TV as much as possible.
It’s believed he’s doing so to show everything will continue as usual as he intends to fight against any accusations made against him.
At this point, we think anything’s possible but we’re just going with the idea they were there to enjoy the show. What do you think? Were they looking to recruit future talent? Let us know in the comments below.
