Cora Jade & Roxanne Perez would earn a title shot on the last episode of NXT 2.0, defeating Kayden Carter & Katana Chance. Now, they have to try and take down Gigi Dolin & Jacy Jayne, a team who are in their second reign as NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions. Perez also holds the NXT Women’s Breakout Tournament contract, giving her a title shot whenever she wants – and that makes her the most dangerous threat that Toxic Attraction has ever seen. Tonight, she could break their golden grasp on NXT 2.0 – which might just be the start.
Cora Jade Gets Isolated
Perez would kick things off with Jayne, and locked up hard in the middle of the ring. Jayne would get taken down to the mat – but was able to fight back up. Perez was forced to the ropes, and avoided a strike before a roll up for two. Jayne would look for a German Suplex, but would take a snapmare and shotgun dropkick.
Dolin got the tag, and would nail a leg kick, before Jade got the tag to Jade. The official missed the tag however, allowing Toxic Attraction to isolate Jade in their corner. Jayne would take her to the middle of the ring and apply the Camel Clutch, lettingPerez see her partner before being yanked back into the TA corner.
Dolin would slam Perez head first into the corner, before an assisted Bronco Buster. Jade would be able to kick out at two, but Jayne grabbed a handful of hair before stomping her back down to the mat. Dolin would tag in and nail a headbutt, getting another two count.
Toxic Attraction Loses Most Of Their Gold
Another headbutt would follow, before Perez was thrown into the corner. She’d avoid the back elbow and get a roll up for a two count, before Dolin hit the Kawada Style kicks to the face. Mandy Rose would mouth off from ringside, before Jayne applied the surfboard stretch. Perez broke free, and would drop Jayne with the pump kick.
Jade would get the tag, and nailed the enziguri before a rising knee in the corner – getting a two count on Dolin. Jayne would get the tag, but was snapped down to the mat for a two count. Jade & Perez hit a russian leg sweep and dropkick combo, before a double superkick.
Rose would yank the referee out of the ring, and would get ejected. In the ring, Jayne would be rolled up for a two count, before catching Perez with a neckbreaker. Dolin hit the running STO, but Jade quickly broke the pinfall up. Perez would hit PopRocks in the ring, and we have new NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions!
