Back at WrestleMania, Logan Paul made his WWE debut – defeating Rey & Dominik Mysterio alongside The Miz. However, there was only room in the spotlight for one man following this match, and The Miz would plant Paul with the Skull Crushing Finale, and figured that was it. However, Logan Paul would do the unthinkable and sign a WWE contract – all to face The Miz tonight at Summerslam. With Tommaso Ciampa and Maryse in his corner – The Miz has every right to be confident… and also the fact that he’s a trained and tenured wrestler, and a former WWE Champion.
The Miz Is Over Confident To Begin This Match
The Miz would take Paul a bit lightly, driving him to the ropes. Paul would be dropped and hit with an elbow to face when he tried for a takedown. He’d be able to manage a Fireman’s Carry, before Miz would almost get kicked in the face. Paul would slide from the strike, before a massive shot to the face landed on Miz.
A roll up would follow, before Miz was sent to the floor and nailed with a moonsault. Back in the ring, Miz would nail some chops in the corner, before Paul would chop so hard his elbow pad went flying. Miz would hit a codebreaker out of the corner, before Ciampa would get him fired up.
Ciampa would get the cheap shot on Paul as The Miz would distract the referee, before Paul would be taken into the middle of the ring. Blockbuster from Paul would land, before he;d look to apply the Figure Four Leg Lock. Miz would fight free, before Paul hit a crossbody and a standing moonsault.
Logan Paul Defeats A Former WWE Champion With His Own Finisher
Ciampa would be caught going for a cheap shot, but was kicked out from ringside. He’d not leave quietly, instead parking at ringside in the chair. AJ Styles would come to ringside, and would run Ciampa away. Paul would hit the Phenomenal Forearm, but only got a two count.
The announce table would get trashed, and The Miz was laid on the table. Frog Splash from the top rope and through the table would follow – crashing both men through. Maryse would distract the referee, but Miz almost punched his wife – before Paul hit the Skull Crushing Finale for the win!
