‘General Hospital’ (GH) Spoilers here and we’re ready to end the week with a bank and we have plenty of spoilery goodies to share.
There’s a ton to unpack heading into this episode, and it looks like it’s going to be a good one as some tough decisions will be on the table and the results could make for some interesting storylines going forward.
Without further ado, let’s dive in!
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers Friday, August 5: Removing Sasha
This is going to be a hard decision, but after Selina Wu (Lydia Look) pointing the pressure on Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) to make sure Deception’s employees were under control we can understand why removing Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) from the Face of Deception is on her mind.
After all, Sasha’s latest break may lead to prison time for her but more than that, Lucy will understand keeping her after this could damage their company.
Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) won’t want to abandon their friend while she’s struggling, and while normally we think Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) would agree with her, she’ll probably side with Lucy on this.
After all, she’s got a couple of things going and she may just want a quick fix on this until they can come back and fix it.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers Friday, August 5: Chase’s future
While Brook Lynn will be dealing with Deception and trying to get her con to get her songs back into motion, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will pay a visit to the Metro Court Pool.
We’re guessing it’ll be after he breaks the news to Brook Lynn that he can tell she’s running a con, because it looks like he’ll seek out Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard).
We’re guessing this will have to do with news on Chase’s future with the police force, and Dante’s answer will most likely come with a question as to why he’s helping Brook Lynn run a con.
Poor Chase can’t buy a break no matter what he does.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers Friday, August 5: The competition heats up
In an odd twist, Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison)’s challenge for a competition to see if his legitimate journalistic beliefs will win the day against Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn)’s belief in picking a side you believe in.
ABC “General Hospital” Spoilers think this is clearly a way for the writers to explore the current trend Alexis is favoring that’s let to hardly anyone trusting the media versus the old established style where facts are presented without a slant and people are left to draw their own conclusions.
We’re curious how this plays out given the message it’ll be sending either way, and that alone would be an interesting angle.
For the most part, this looks like a spicy way to bring the two characters together for a potential relationship. There’s plenty of potential here and we’re looking forward to seeing who comes out on top. It’s hard to pick a winner as Alexis’s expression could go either way, but who do you think won the competition?
