Relationships are the theme of the day and ‘General Hospital’ (GH) Spoilers are set to dive in and have some fun with the spoilery goodies.
There’s going to be some good and bad moments today, depending on which character will get what, and we’re so looking forward to one scene in particular.

‘General Hospital’ Spoilers Monday, August 9: Fighting an uphill battle
Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) will continue to try to prove to Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) that they belong together, and this should be a fun exchange.
Cody’s been wearing her down, and to further prove he’s the man for her he’s going to tell her that he’s not afraid of strong women.
How this comes up has ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers curious, but we’re sure Cody will finally have enough clues to be himself and avoid acting to impress her.
Britt will be receptive to him for the first time, but he’d better tread carefully or he’s going to get booted once again.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers Monday, August 9: Nikolas gets what he wanted
This is one scene we’ve been anxiously waiting for as Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) is going to pay for being the biggest idiot in Port Charles.
He had ample warnings from everyone about Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) and he chose to ignore them, and then he broke down and slept with her.
Since he tried to get Ava Jerome (Maura West) to divorce him afterwards so his fortune and home would be safe if she found out, he had a change of heart.
And now that chance of heart is going to cost him as Ava will sign the divorce papers, but she’ll make sure everything is listed at the current date to ensure she gets everything he has to his name.
Nikolas won’t be happy about this, but then he should’ve been thinking when he slept with his son’s girlfriend. Just wait until Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) finds out.
Spencer walking away from him will be the final crushing blow and he has no one to blame but himself.
This is something we’d normally feel bad about for Nikolas, but he’s proven incapable of growing and learning on his own, even when he’s handed everything he needs to figure out the problem.
What’s really bad about this is the vindictiveness Ava will sign the paper and have them filed. We can’t blame her one bit, but afterwards she’s going to be crushed.
