‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set to dive into some fun spoilery goodies.
There’s so much potential in Genoa City for fun storylines and angles that we’re waiting for the rug to be pulled out from under us for the umpteenth time.
Still, we’ll keep coming back, hoping the writers push the boundaries beyond what they’ve done so far, and there’s fertile ground for them to make a few giant splashes.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Wednesday, August 24: Victor wallows in his righteousness
We’re pretty sure Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) not wanting any praise or thanks surprised Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).
Victor may not understand why, but he’ll try to and explain how he’s a wonderful father for manipulating his family and complicating a simple investigation for no reason.
Chance won’t be having it, and we’re curious if he’ll ask how Victor was there so quickly with his security team. Victor’s said his team was there and called him, but to arrive in a few minutes?
There’s the possibility that Victor was there with his team to ensure Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) was taken care of.
But for now, Victor’s going to lecture and posture over what he did since bending and breaking the law to suit his desire is okay, and it could push Chance to reopen the case and send everything to the DA.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Wednesday, August 24: Kevin’s on the defensive
Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will be making too much sense for Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) to ignore despite knowing Adam’s as manipulative as Victor.
He’ll know Victor is capable of doing what Adam will claim, but he will also know Chance won’t allow that to happen, but his faith could be shaken.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers are curious if Kevin’s faith will be shaken enough for him to take what he’s gathered and hand it over to the DA while attempting to keep Chance’s name out of it.
If he does this, there’s a high probability that Chance will find himself under scrutiny for not doing his job and that will create more headaches for Kevin, not to mention being at odds with the Newmans and his brother.
This will be an interesting storyline as Kevin will be pulled in multiple directions and things could get pretty interesting.
Of course, Chance could make it easy peasy for Kevin by changing his mind, then they can send Victor a thank you letter with a gift basket.
