‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set to keep things rolling with some spoilery goodies to share.
It looks like we’re getting a character building episode as we take a breath after the recent discoveries and heightening of tensions.

It can be a good thing to have others gather around for your cause, and when it comes to Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters), Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) are always looking for additions.

With a new recruit in the Diane Haters Club, they not only find a common ally against Diane, but ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers think it’ll be someone that doesn’t mind if Jabot suffers to get her.
She’ll be there to replace Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson), who has reservations about Phyllis’ plot because it will harm jabot.
It’ll give Phyllis some validation since, let’s face it, her plans always cause more harm than they attend. It’s like snipe hunting with a nuclear bomb with her, and Nikki will just be glad it’s Jabot and not Newman Enterprises.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Wednesday, August 17: Diane’s pledge
While the Diane Haters Club is growing stronger, Diane will be working to bettering her life and continuing to prover herself to Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor).
It’s a process that will never really stop for her, and she seems to accept that, even going so far as to make a promise to Jack.
What this promise is has us curious, and we think it’s going to be along the lines of her pledging to always be their for their grandchild and to keep trying to prove herself.
Of course, there’s also the fact Jack could talk to her about Phyllis and she’ll promise not to do anything to get in her way, so we could see a broad range promise given the various topics at hand.
One thing for sure is she and Jack are going to grow a lot closer.

There always has to be something that comes up at an inopportune time, and it looks like Kyle and Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) are going to have their romantic evening interrupted by an unexpected event.
We think it’ll be something simple, or maybe they’ll cross paths with the Diane Haters Club and it’ll get Summer thinking. However it goes, we doubt it’ll be a welcome surprise.
