‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set to dive in and help keep things rolling with some fun spoilery goodies.
There’s plenty going on in this episode despite it being a character building one, and there are going to be some interesting decisions made and truths to come out.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Thursday, August 18: Questioning Billy’s commitment
This is going to be a interesting exchange as Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will be looking to put out any more fires before they get going, and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson)’s listlessness is a pressing one after her attempt with Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) blew up in her face.
Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) has been struggling with his listlessness, and while he enjoys his podcast he’s grown a little bored with it and is looking for something else.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers have no doubt that Billy won’t leave her high and dry. In fact, we think he’ll ensure her he’s there for her and he’ll find whatever he needs while being there for her.
It’ll be a touching moment for Lily and she’ll feel like they’ll be able to work through anything together.
“The Young and the Restless” Spoilers: Caught in the middle
One of the more powerful scenes will come curtesy of Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) and Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd).
Abby will discover him deep in work on his current case with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and she’s going to want to talk.
It’s going to be interesting how this plays out, as we think Abby will ask him how confident he is and if it’s something he wants to do. He’ll ask her if she wants him to stop the investigation, and that’s when it’ll get fun.
We hope Abby will give him the go ahead to keep working on it and shove Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott)’s manipulation where it belongs, and if she does this, Chance will do the same with Victor’s threat.
With any luck, they’ll tell each other about the family’s attempts to get him to drop the case, and that’ll only give Abby and Chance more reason to dig their heels in.
In a way, Victor and Nikki could be the reason Victor’s eventually brought down, and judging by fans’ reactions, he’s due to be toppled and there won’t be much in the way of fan backlash.
Now, if Victor’s allowed to skip over this, things could get bad in a hurry.
