‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set to kickstart a new week into motion with some fun spoilery goodies to share.
In the wake of Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) crushing Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd)’s integrity and turning him into basically a dirty cop, he’s going to shift his focus back to Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and his attempts to leave the family.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Monday, August 22: Victor’s Tired of Adam’s Ungratefulness; Sharon Helps Nick Deal Without Having Closure
Not to be outdone, another of Victor’s ungrateful children will have his own demons to deal with since he didn’t get any closure on his actions because Victor’s ego needed some stroking.
But there is hope for Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) as Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will be there to help him through the mind field of emotions Victor left in his wake. It’ll also be a great sport to begin their next romance.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Monday, August 22: Ungrateful brats!
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers don’t think Victor will waste any time in using his bludgeoning Chance into submission to his advantage as he’ll lose his patience with Adam.
We expect this will be the same conversation we’ve seen a hundred times the last couple of years between the two with a couple of tweaks.
Since Victor walked away unscathed, he’ll use Chance’s loyalty to the family to bludgeon Adam into seeing things his way.
Adam will use Chance to show that he buckled just like Victor wants everyone to do to his will, and a good argument will ensue.
We doubt Adam will be moved to rejoin the family despite Victor calling him ungrateful. If there’s a bonus to this scene, maybe Adam records Victor admitting what he did to “protect” Nick, and that’ll start a new investigation.
But even then, Victor will walk so it seems pointless.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Monday, August 22: Nick’s lost
Since any chance of Nick finding closure ended with Victor’s influence and then manipulating Chance into giving in, he’s going to have plenty of unresolved issues to deal with.
What makes this even worse is everyone seems fine with him suffering as long as Victor has his way.
Nick knows he didn’t kill Ashland Locke (Robert Newman), but having he case closed due to Victor’s pressure instead of the actual evidence is going to stick with him for a long time.
Fortunately, Sharon’s going to help him face any demons that crop up as they take the first step in a not-so subtle reboot of their relationship.
Will Nick be able to move past this? Let us know in the comments below and check back with ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation.
