Tony Ferguson is blasting to Daniel Cormier for some period now. His last accusation, or blaming, is that back in the UFC 210 DC has made a towel trick to make the requested weight.
Tony says that the heavyweight rests his hands on the towel at the weightings. Moreover, going through this without punishment from the UFC he directly scams his win over Anthony Johnson.

If you look at the video of the weightings, you can clearly see that he puts his hands on the towel. How this goes unnoticed by the officials cannot be explained.
This is brought to light now, after 5 years because of the recent happenings in the UFC. The title is taken away from Charles Oliveira due to missing the weight by half a pound. And by the looks of it, Daniel Cormier with resting his hands on the towel scams this by much more than that. And gets a title on top of that.

After the post, DC takes to social media and he replies, somewhat modestly.
“Tony please stop. Go and sit back for a little, and tuck your head in a hole somewhere. Regroup man, recover spend some time with your family. Like just please stop! I plead with you. It is not a good look. Like you’re making me sad.” – DC says.
“If I did touch it at all I was literally making sure that it didn’t fall. I was right at 205 so I need to be naked behind the towel” – he adds.
Tony Ferguson has had his fourth loss in a row at the recent UFC 274 event. He receives a knockout by Michael Chandler by a leg kick on the head. This bout raises too much attention due to the fierceness, unexpectedness, and brutality of the leg kick.
The photo of Ferguson’s misshapen face is proof of that. The oversharing of the photo on social media is evident. Everyone who is a fan of the sport has commented, shared, or liked the photo at some point. So it cannot be unseen now.
Maybe that is what makes Tony Ferguson so mad and easily irritable. And he does not know any other way how to recover from this, so that is why he brings back stuff that is happening 5-6 years ago.
But why Cormier? I mean he has been shooting at Dana White constantly for some period now, but that is understandable. He has some issues with the UFC and the only way to solve them is through Dana White. But Cormier? The guy has even said many positive things for him in the recent period. He is not someone who sees Ferguson as a joke or, even better a failure.
