Joe Rogan is not siding, nor believing Joe Biden when he claims that the US economy is not in a recession. The famous podcaster and UFC commentator fires off on Joe Biden for failing to accept and tell the truth to the American people. According to Rogan, the president is refusing to acknowledge the two consecutive quarters of negative GDP growth. In other words, this is the definition of recession.
In the meantime, while all this is happening Joe Rogan found out that Wikipedia has put a blockage on users to edit the ‘recession’ page. This happens during a recent episode of Rogan’s podcast where he has Chris Williamson as his guest. Rogan notices the details about the recession page on Wikipedia and blames the US government for ‘trying to not call it a recession’ when it actually is.
Joe Rogan Claims That Joe Biden Is Lying About Recession
He says that the Biden administration is so sneaky that they ‘literally change the definition of recession’. According to the UFC color commentator, this is a terrible thing to do as they are falsifying the situation in which the US and the whole world are in at the moment. Joe Rogan calls for a major pushback on this and asks the American people to wake up and not fall for these tricks.
“It should be something that people get angry about, like, ‘Hey, you’re f–king with definitions in order to pretend that you’re doing a good job.” – Rogan says.
Rogan claims that by changing the term for recession results in a way lesser reaction in the American people.
“People would think that it’s trivial, ’cause they are talking about this economic downturn. But it’s not trivial because we’ve always used that term ‘recession.’” – he adds. “We’ve always used that term to define whether or not the economic policies that are currently in place. Whether or not the management and the government have done a good job of making sure that the economy stays in a good place.”
Rogan’s guest, Williamson agrees with this. He adds that avoiding the word recession is a thing that is well calculated by the Democratic wing in America.
“If you can’t control the economy, you might as well just control the language. And hope for the best.” – He says. In the meantime, Wikipedia is losing its objectivity – according to Elon Musk, Tesla’s CEO.
Numerous people visited the Wikipedia page to read the recession article lately. And what did Wikipedia do? They blocked it from editing by regular users. However, they allowed one change – the government’s.
Joe Biden claims that the USA is not in a recession despite all the indicators that it is. Top economic advisers in the Biden administration also claim the same thing. It is almost like they are unaware of what recession is. Maybe they should consult a podcaster on it, for example, Joe Rogan can help with explaining what it is.
“This is not an economy that’s in recession.” – Yellen, the treasury secretary of the US told NBC. “But we’re in a period of transition in which growth is slowing and that’s necessary and appropriate. We need to be growing at a steady and sustainable pace.”
