‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set to dive into some spoilery goodies to get ready for the upcoming fun.
Not everything can last, and we may be moving towards seeing just what is going to last a lifetime in Genoa City, and what’s going to come crumbling down around everyone’s ears.

Now that the Newmans have tried blustering and manipulation to protect Victor Newman (Eric Braden) from his own arrogance, Victor will fill them in on his new game plan.

By now, he should realize Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) isn’t going to let a wannabe mod boss get away with covering up a crime even if they are related, and so he’s going to go cutthroat in protecting himself.
Of course, he’ll say his family, but they wouldn’t need protecting if it wasn’t for him, so it comes back to protecting himself.
There is a chance he’ll pretend to give himself up and hope that this will bring the rest of the family closer together so they can work better as a team.
The wild card will remain Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), and we have a feeling some more manipulation from Victor will be handed out to get him onboard.
Victor should go down for this hard, but we doubt the writers and showrunners will be brave enough to push that envelop.
Despite all the bells and whistles, this house of cards for a storyline is close to falling apart under its own weight.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Tuesday, August 16: Family squabbles
Nothing beats family members going after each other on daytime television, and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) are going to make bigger waves before too long.
So, this makes it the perfect time for Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) to step in and see if she can’t find a way to mediate their problem.
It’s going to be high on her concern radar with most everything else going as smoothly as possible, and it’ll be her first real test since bringing the two companies together despite Devon’s reservations.
While the heat’s on Nate, ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers have to wonder if maybe Devon is being harder on Nate in a way to self sabotage an endeavor he wasn’t a supporter of?
