The NXT Women’s Tag Team Championships are vacant, after Cora Jade would throw her belt in the trash. Roxanne Perez will have to wait to try and regain the gold however, as tonight four hungry teams will look to leave tonight as champions. Katana Chance & Kayden Carter, Ivy Nile & Tatum Paxley, Valentina Feroz & Yulisa Leon, and Toxic Attraction will battle in a Fatal Four Way elimination match to crown new championships.

Four Teams Enter The Ring, With The Same Goal In Mind

Paxley & Carter would start this match off, before Jacy Jayne would get tagged in. Toxic Attraction would show why they’re two time champions with some double tag team offence. Dollin took a dropkick, before Nile tagged in to try and keep the pressure on. Feroz would tag herself in alongside Carter, and would almost get the submission off a stretch. Leon would assist in some high flying offence, before taking Toxic Attraction off the apron.

Carter would be able to nail a superkick, before Nile pulled Carter to the floor. Leon would press slam Feroz onto their opponents, before hitting a massive dive over the top rope herself – showing power and speed like never before – but getting just a two count in the ring. Paxley would tag in and kick out after a suplex into a crossbody, before Nile hit a forearm smash to eliminate Leon & Feroz.

Toxic Attraction would attack Nile from being and get a near fall, before Paxley would get the tag alongside Chance for a big vertical suplex. A dropkick and springboard forearm smash would be followed by a kick in the corner – but Catanzaro would kick out. Falcon Arrow would be blocked, before Chance would springboard clean over Paxley. Codebreaker into a Death Valley Bomb would see Jayne tag herself in to steal the pinfall.

Katana Chance & Kayden Carter Claim NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions

We were down to the two most experienced teams for the goal, and Toxic would corner both opponents before some heavy strikes. Carter would try and roll Jayne into a superkick – before taking a harsh rolling elbow. Dolin would hit the running STO – before a superkick nailed her in the jaw for a two count.

Chance would take a German Suplex – before taking Toxic Shock – and Carter quickly broke the pinfall attempt up – before laying out Toxic Attraction and collapsing. Jayne & Chance hit their feet and traded heavy strikes in the middle of the ring – before Chance hit Sole Good. 450 Splash & Neckbreaker combo was blocked as Dolin yanked to the floor.

Chance came off the top rope with a crossbody, before back in the ring Chance & Carter nailed their tag team finisher. After three years and many failed attempts – Chance & Carter can call themselves tag team champions. Who will step up for the first defence?

Since getting access to the internet, he's watched more wrestling than he could ever remember from all around the world. It's hard to keep track of what happens in the wild world of professional wrestling, but he always tries to stay up to date. Note: No relation to Tully Blanchard of Four Horsemen fame (probably).
