‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set to keep things rolling with some fun spoilery goodies to share.
This should be an interesting episode as we’re going to get a largely Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) centric plot as the final steps to crossing over with “The Bold and the Beautiful” begins.
With plenty to get to, let’s dive into some spoilers!
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Thursday, September: Nikki’s gets help
We’re in for a fun time here as Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) heads to Los Angeles to pay a visit to a not so dear friend in the hopes of learning more about Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters).
And since it’s Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) she wants to question, she’s going to have backup from Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) in the form of security guards of a favor put in to someone there.
We expect Deacon’s life to be made slightly miserable until he gives Nikki something to use against Diane, but there’s a chance Diane has led a clean life there like they’ve discovered so far.
But that would defeat the purpose of this visit, so ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers think he’ll share something along the lines of how she got started in Los Angeles.
She may have claimed the name and life of a deceased individual with his help, which won’t earn him any favors from Nikki.
In the event Deacon doesn’t have anything she can use, chances are she’ll find out who killed the series of expose articles on Diane, and chances are it could be Deacon and they’re running a scam of some sort.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Thursday, September: Invitation for information gathering?
This is pure speculation on our part and we’re going outside the box a little with this, but what if Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will invite Diane to a comfortable lunch or meeting just to get her to drop her guard?
It won’t have anything to do with Nikki’s endeavor, but Jack could’ve been asked for his thoughts on whether he thinks Diane’s trying to set Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) up or not.
Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) are split on who to believe, so it makes sense they’d ask Jack since he knows her best and Jabot is Marchetti’s parent company.
Of course, there’s every chance Phyllis will happen by and the two of them will get into an exchange and that’ll be more telling and if that happens we think Phyllis is dead in the water.
