Impact Wrestling Victory Road Results returned as Scott D’Amore’s conversation with Mike Bailey about finding his next challenger for Bound For Glory and that was followed by the introductions.
Mia Yim, Laredo Kid, and Trey Miguel were the first to come out to start the match.
Laredo had the upper hand early on as he went back and forth and avoided Yim’s attacks and used her to launch attacks on Trey before hitting a back breaker on her, then a moonsault off the top rope to take them both out on the floor.
A 450 splash on a stacked Yim and Trey led to a couple of pin attempts, and he threw Yim to the floor to focus on Trey.
Yim makes an impression
Yim knocked Trey to the floor off the top rope and she took it to Laredo with a DDT for the pin to eliminate him.
The next to join the match was Alex Zayne.

Zayne caught Yim’s leap from the ring and planted her on the apron and went to work on Trey and used Yim by slamming her into Trey and he went for pin attempts on both of them.
Yim turned it around and sent them both toe the floor with a double hurricanrana, but then ran into a double kick when she went for a dive.
She dropkicked Trey into the turnbuckle and tied up Zayne for a pin to eliminate him and Kenny King was next.
Yim waited for him to enter the ring, but King deferred and Trey rolled her up for a pin attempt.
Trey and Yim argued over who would go after King first and Trey won, but King countered his hurricanrana with a powerbomb and a spinebuster on Yim.
King rolled up Yim for the pin to eliminate her, with a handful of tights of course.
Yuya Uemura came out next and he leveled Trey and nailed King with a dropkick.

Then there were three
Trey hit a cool looking spinning rollup for the pin on Uemura, and Frankie Kazarian was next to come out.
Kazarian caught Trey out of the air in a rear naked choke to make him tap out, and Black Taurus came out to close out the competition.
Taurus hit a popup Samoan Drop on King and a backbreaker on Kazarian. He followed it with a couple of sling blades on King for a pin attempt Kazarian broke up.
King hit a popup powerbomb on Kazarian for a pin attempt Taurus broke up, and Taurus went back and forth between them before hitting a powerslam on Kazarian for a near pinfall.
Kazarian flipped King into the ring and caught him with a cutter for the win to face Mike Bailey at Bound For Glory.
