At Summerslam 2022, Bayley would make her long awaited return to WWE – and she wasn’t alone. Backed up by Dakota Kai & Iyo Sky, Damage Control would start to look to rule the women’s division on Monday Night RAW. Standing in their way is RAW Women’s Champion Bianca Belair, Asuka, and Alexa Bliss. Tonight, they meet in six woman tag team action, and while Belair isn’t putting her title on the line, she knows there’s more at stake here. Bayley is just one win away from a proper title shot, and tonight in Cardiff – momentum could shift, and the whole women’s division could go with it.

Bianca Belair, Asuka, & Alexa Bliss Try To Get On Same Page

Belair & Bayley would start things up, with the crowd with some loud chanting for Bayley – which she failed to shut down. This one turned into a six man brawl, with Belair dropping Bayley before being yanked to the floor by Kai & Sky. A triple suplex from Belair, Asuka & Bliss would set up a three for one moonsault, and Damage Control would have to regroup on the floor.

Bliss would hit the knee drop combo on Sky in the middle of the ring, but was only able to get a two count. Bayley got the tag and would get shut down by Asuka. The bulldog would land, before some hip attacks. Sky got the tag, and would hit the springboard dropkick to the chest of Asuka.

Asuka responded with some heavy strikes, before taking a stiff kick to the chest. Damage Control would be able to isolate Asuka in their corner briefly, before Bayley would be taken out on the floor by Bliss. Kai was legal however, and hit the shotgun dropkick to the chest of Bliss, sending her into the barricade.

    Damage Control Show Their Name

Sky would drive Bliss face first into the corner, before a flapjack. She’d try to apply a submission, but Bliss broke free and hit the Code Red. Kai had made the tag however, and would catch Bliss with a kick to the face. Bayley would enter the ring and be tossed to the side, as Bliss threw her to the floor.

She’d get into position to prevent the tag to Belair, driving her into the barricade. Asuka got the tag instead, and would overwhelm Sky with strikes before a German Suplex & Shining Wizard for a two count. Bayley would break the pin up and hit some suplexes of her down, before getting the tag.

Belair would try to get this match back on track as she met Bayley in the ring with a spinebuster and standing moonsault. Kai would be legal and was thrown to the outside – taking Sky with her. Asuka & Bliss would hit the superplex on Bayley, before Kai would be stopped in the corner for a Gorilla Press slam. Sky hot into the ring and Kai was used as a weapon, before Kai would take control with the Scorpion Kick. Damage Control would use the braid of Belair to stop her, before Rose Plant & Moonsault would end this match.

Will Bayley get a title shot after this pinfall over the champion? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.

A wrestling fan practically since birth, who has been hooked since he got his first toy wrestling ring for Christmas as a child. Since getting access to the internet, he's watched more wrestling than he could ever remember from all around the world. It's hard to keep track of what happens in the wild world of professional wrestling, but he always tries to stay up to date. Note: No relation to Tully Blanchard of Four Horsemen fame (probably).
