Since Vince McMahon retired from WWE, it seems like the company has been hard at working at fixing some mistakes. Triple H becoming the head of creative was able to fix some of the issues with Monday Night RAW & Smackdown Live – and he would bring back some of the names who left the company or were released. However, one name lingers in the minds of fans on who should be brought back – and that’s Bray Wyatt.
Talks To Bring Bray Wyatt Back To WWE Have Stalled Out
During the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter – we’d get a major update on the WWE status of Bray Wyatt. While talks had happened, they’ve since stalled out. The following would be published.
“Regarding talk of Wyatt returning, there were definitely talks in that direction. At one point the talks stalled but it was said it was not a dead issue. Talks with him outside WWE had also stalled in the past, as his asking price was well above what other companies were willing to pay. When he was last in WWE, the belief was that behind Reigns and Lesnar, that the tier of he, Orton and Rousey were the highest paid pro wrestlers in the world.”
Waiting To See How His Horror Movie Debut Pans Out
Since leaving WWE, Wyatt has really done nothing of note in professional wrestling. He’s not worked for any major companies, but was working on a horror movie – which is still coming along. Wyatt might well be waiting to see if this works out for him before committing to a wrestling return. Provided he’s smart with his money, he made a lot of it during his time at the top of WWE as The Fiend – and could fund projects that really take his vision to the world.
A return to WWE from Wyatt would be massive. Even after so long away, fans still show up wearing Fiend gear. He remains one of the most talked about names in professional wrestling – a testament to just how great that run truly was.
