’90 Day Fiancé’ Spoilers: Debbie Johnson Has A Lot To Say About Her Boyfriend, Tony’s Controversial Tattoo
Debbie says in her chats with fans, “Hello, it’s not a white supremacy tattoo,” and “It’s a Croatian flag.” She told one fan that “you are as stupid as you look,” and that they are “plain ignorant” then went on to accuse them of “spreading lies” to get attention. Debbie said that Tony’s family is from Croatia which is “an absolute gorgeous country.”
She added, “Tony is the least racist person I know,” and, “It does not now or ever has been a Nazi symbol,” in reference to the tattoo. She tells critics to “go back to school” because she thinks her man is “not a radical or anything like that.” Debbie also wrote, “he loves the country its beautiful and Nazis were removed from that country decades ago.”
“Evo zore, evo dana,” is tattooed on Tony’s lower back, and fans claim that it translates to “Here comes the dawn, here comes the day,” a Croatian marching song first used by the fascist Ustaše. Debbie declared, “Btw, it’s a flag not a Nazi marching song,” to a fan.
Redditor, u/Kupina123, who is from Croatia, posted a gif of the Croatian flag to educate others that the flag has to start with red. The Redditor said that if the flag starts with white, then it has a totally different meaning and ideology. The user said, “He knew what he was tattooing and meaning behind it,” and another user, u/EriannaG said, “his is not the Croatian coat of arms.
It is the Ustase one which were Nazi Allies in Croatia that killed hundreds of Serbs and Jews.” Also, Debbie saying that her man is the “least” racist person she knows could mean that she knows a number of racist people and is comparing her boyfriend to them. Some fans actually agree with Debbie and some believe that Tony got the tattoo done accidentally without knowing the meaning behind it.
