‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set to dive into some spoilery goodies as things are heating up in Genoa City.
There’s a lot of replotting and readjusting in this episode and it’s going to lead to some fun interactions and conflicts down the road. Without further ado, let’s dive in!
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Tuesday, October 18: Retooling and rearming
Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) are going to start redrawing their plans to take over Chancellor-Winters now that Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) gave up everything for Elena Dawkins (Brytni Sarpy).
We expect them to still plan to buy as much of the company’s stock ass possible for as near a controlling share as they can, but also protect against the threat Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) represents.
This should be a fun scene as Nick will once again try to talk Victoria out of this, but he’ll also concede that it’s on firmer legal and ethical ground. He’ll also lament Nate’s work in all of this could come back to bite them.
Victoria will admit it makes things steadier in a way, and then she’ll look to try and turn this to their advantage.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Tuesday, October 18: Protective daughter
While ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers expect Nick and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) to get back together at some point, their parting is for the best at the moment.
Of course, Summer Newman (Alison Lanier) will take a different approach as she’ll warn Sally to stay away from Nick or else.
We doubt Summer will ever get over being manipulated, even if she was handed a dream job through Sally’s efforts. She also will continue to forget she was the aggressor as she once again gets on her holier than thou soapbox.
Still, we think Sally will stand her ground and point out she has no intention of ever hurting Nick and mention what we did above.
In the end, they may not part as friends but maybe Summer’s animosity will be tempered. Probably not since she is her mother’s daughter, but we can hope so for her sake.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Tuesday, October 18: Damage control
With Nate’s betrayal out for everyone to see, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will be working overtime to limit the damage Nate leaving will have on the IPO.
This sounds like they’re still going to take the company public, and we can’t help but wonder if this is a grand scheme of Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) to bring Devon and Tucker together.
After all, it seems hard to imagine her going forward with this and bringing in someone with potential ties to Tucker. Or most likely we’re way off on this one and instead of added spice we’ll get a rerun of sorts of the Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) storyline.
