‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set to keep things moving with some fun spoilery goodies to share.
This looks like it’s a character development episode, but there are a couple of potentially critical moments for the main storyline. With any luck, things will start progressing at a better clip. Without further ado, let’s dig in!
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Tuesday, October 25: Brotherly warning
After Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) came clean with him, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) is going to do some soul searching on what to do or think towards her next, but first he’ll want to pass the word along.
Normally, we doubt he’d say anything, but since Tucker McCall (Trevor St. James) is chasing after Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson), he’ll want to warn his sister.
So, ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers think he’ll share what Diane told him about Tucker in Los Angeles. He’ll be giving her and the Mean Girls club exactly what they want, but it’ll be in the hope he’s helping keep Ashley safe.
He may also be curious if Ashley will recognize something in Tucker’s actions that are similar to what he did with her as a way to verify what Diane said as well as her fears.
The question will then become if Ashley will be willing to use this information to try to force Diane out of Genoa City, or will she feel for her as another survivor of Tucker’s manipulation?
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Tuesday, October 25: Grasping at straws
As luck would have it, the other Mean Girls will be having some interesting situations of their own, with Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) having the more stressful of the situation.
Nikki’s going to lose her patience, and whether it’s with this or some other issue is hard to say, but we think it’ll involve Diane and how nothing has worked yet.
She may even become frustrated with Ashley if she defends Diane at all after she learns her story.
After all, Nikki and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) had no qualms about risking Jabot and hurting Jack when this started, so why should they care about Diane or anyone else not on their side?
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Tuesday, October 25: The real troublemaker
That brings us to Phyllis and how she’s been doing 90% or more of the lifting for the Mean Girls while Nikki went to LA and spent the rest of the time making Victor Newman (Eric Braeden)’s men do the work.
Phyllis will also continue with their plan to push Diane over the edge, effectively proving their point by making her switch gears into her hold habits to survive.
Then there’s the issue that all of Phyllis’ schemes blow up in her face and she’s going to have a lot to answer for then the kids get back from their honeymoon.
Maybe doing it while they were gone wasn’t as good a timing as Phyllis thought?
