According to reports, the film generated $140 million across the globe in its first week since being released on Thursday, 21st October 2022.
This is despite the fact that the reviews for the film by critics have been far from impressive. Rotten Tomatoes have given it an average 2 out of 5 stars. And yet, The Rock will not mind since his fan base has supported the project anyway.
In a post with fans on Instagram, Johnson shared a clip of himself working out from the gym. He can then be heard saying the following comments: “Thank you, thank you, thank you.
“I am a delivering a big-ass package of gratitude right now.” One of the reasons why the film may have resonated with the audience is the fact that Henry Cavill made a surprise cameo in the movie.
In the post credits scene, we can see that Superman is interacting with Black Adam as he can be heard stating that “we should talk.” And his return to the Superman franchise was all but confirmed with the following message shared by Dwayne.
In the video here, the poster of Henry as Superman is followed by the actor saying: “I wanted to make it official, that I am back as Superman.” The fans on social media made their position very clear.

The movie has certainly created a buzz amongst superhero lovers, and that will no doubt get bigger with Cavill’s introduction to it. So there you have it folks. What did you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
