This year, WWE is refreshing Survivor Series by making a few changes. With the brand vs. brand elimination tag team matches having been stale for a few years now, it’s time for something different. Triple H is in charge, and there was nothing to stop him from bringing WarGames to the table. With two matches planned, there’s not going to be many slots available, but one lady who was in the match twice back in NXT wants in – and who will say no to Raquel Rodriguez ?
Raquel Rodriguez Loves WarGames, Wants To Be Involved Again
While appearing on the Under The Ring podcast, Raquel Rodriguez would express interest in once again stepping into the daunting double cage of WarGames. She’d go as far as to call WarGames her favorite match type, and would be quoted saying the following about the match type.
“It is my favorite. It is absolutely my favorite. I am a two-time WarGames champion, I just want to throw that out there because I feel like I have some good experience under my belt. I would love to be in this year’s WarGames. There is so much action in two rings that are next to each other and then the cage and the weapons that get involved and you don’t know who’s going to get called in first.
Speaking of Dakota Kai again, she is the absolute athlete of WarGames. She has literally started all three in a row and has gone until the very end. That girl just goes, and that’s what I really appreciate about Dakota, is that she is an absolute athlete. I’m excited about this year because if we get to be on opposing sides again, I can’t wait to stuff her in another trash can. Or if we are on the same side, who knows? I would definitely love to be a part of this year’s WarGames, 100%,”
It’s very likely Damage CTRL has some part in WarGames this year, being the hot new faction in the women’s division. Meanwhile it’s expected The Bloodline will be a major threat in the mens WarGames match.
