Hasbulla signing with the UFC created a major controversy by itself. However, what he had to say to his ‘fans’ before flying to the UFC events is even more controversial. Hasbulla Magomedov disappointed many UFC fans with his statement that he did on social media. Especially, the female portion of it. He revealed that he will not be taking photos with women on the tour. The controversial statement left many fans curious about why he made the announcement.
Hasbulla Magaomedov became a social media sensation even before getting into the UFC. The social media personality suffers from achondroplasia, a condition that makes him look much younger than he actually is.
Why Hasbulla Will Not Be Taking Pictures With Women?
The child-looking Hasbulla Mogamedov somehow managed to make the most of his condition. Thanks to it, he became a social media attraction and a star, predominantly on TikTok and Instagram. Even UFC President Dana White pointed out that a video of Hasbulla that he shared on his Instagram overpassed the popularity of all his previous stories and posts.
“You know I posted that video of him saying, ‘Dana I’m coming to UFC Abu Dhabi,’ and then I said, ‘I’m on the plane can’t wait to meet you in Abu Dhabi?” On Instagram, I have 6.7 million followers, right? 6.4 million people watched that video on Instagram. It’s the biggest thing that I’ve ever posted. It’s insane!” – Dana White said about the little Khabib.
Hasbulla’s deal with the UFC includes him touring with the MMA promotion all over the world. The tour will start in August 2023 in Sydney, Australia. Each UFC event will feature a meet and greet service by Hasbulla, where his fans will get a chance to meet him and even take pictures with him.
However, there is one condition, if you want to take a picture with Mini Khabib. It is a condition that actually cuts off half of Earth’s population. You have to be male. Ahead of the tour, Hasbulla revealed that he would not be taking photos with women.
“To our female guests, if you would like to attend the meet and greet with Hasbulla, you are welcome, but please recognize the limitations of photography.” – the tour’s organizers revealed. “We understand the disappointment this creates. However, we respectfully acknowledge Hasbulla’s cultural and personal beliefs and have to accommodate her requests accordingly.”
At the moment, there is no further explanation of Hasbulla’s beliefs, except that he is a fully devoted Muslim. Numerous fans are pointing out his religion as a possible factor in making the decision.
