The Slaton Sisters, Amy Halterman and Tammy Slaton, now Willingham, are currently living their best lives. Tammy recently tied the knot with the love of her life ad Amy has visibly lost a huge amount of weight. The mom of two tells fans to anticipate 1000-lb. Sisters Season 4 while introducing the newly wedded couple to fans.
Amy Says “No More Slaton Sisters?”
In the video she posted on Instagram, Amy rocked an orange dress with purple hair, and her huge weight loss is noticeable. While introducing the couple as they sat on their wheelchairs, she said, “Ok, y’all, there’s no more Slaton Sisters. I would love to present to y’all the Willinghams,” while Tammy who looked beautiful in her white wedding dress declared, “Y’all knew me as Mrs. Tammy Willingham. I’m married now!”
Amy pointed out that they are no longer Slaton sisters as they are both married and now answer to their respective husbands’ last names, ‘Halterman’ and ‘Willingham.’ 1000-Lb Sister fans are excited that Tammy is off the market but they are happier that Amy has reduced drastically in size. The 35-year-old flaunted her trimmed body in her off-shoulder orange dress and she looked so confident.
Fans know that Amy Halterman worked so hard to lose a certain amount of weight and she was later slated for gastric bypass surgery, but Tammy’s past relationships were enablers to her bad eating habit. They encouraged her to eat more despite the health risks involved. Her weight loss journey wasn’t encouraging like her sister’s. Amy’s resilience and dedication paid off and her health has improved.
However, viewers once concluded that she only lost weight to get pregnant and that, her weight loss goal will be put aside or totally forgotten after giving birth to her second son. But with the recent development, she has proven them wrong because it is obvious that she is not relenting on her weight loss journey anytime soon.
