‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set to dive into some fun spoilery goodies to help keep things rolling this week.
There’s some fun to be had in this episode, and it’s not all going to be pretty as a couple of relationships are on the verge of exploding, but that’ll leave an opening for new beginnings and storylines.
With so much going on, let’s grab some snacks and dive in!
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Thursday, November 17: Billy’s on the outs
This was bound to happen with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) assuming his word was good enough and Jill Abbott (Jess Walters) chirping in Lily Winters (Christel Khalil)’s ear.
When that along with the pressure of being the only member of the executive branch that’s at her station during the push to go public, Lily’s bound to suspect something or at least explode.
While she may still go nuclear, she’s going to be highly suspicious of Billy spending so much time with Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) and at the drop of a hat.
While Billy’s respected Chelsea’s wishes and didn’t tell anyone about her, he did get lucky in that Chelsea told him he should tell Lily about what he’s been doing.
While he may do that, it could be too little, too late as the seeds of him cheating on her have been planted in Lily’s mind.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers think she’ll appreciate Billy saved her life and what Chelsea went through, but the part that will stick with her is that he didn’t tell her.
Sure, she’ll get it was Chelsea’s story, but she and Billy are supposed to share everything. She’s right, but so is Billy. Under any other circumstances they might be able to work beyond this, but the timing could end them.
“The Young and the Restless” Spoilers: Adam has enough
While Chelsea’s life is getting back on track, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will be fighting the fact he was cut out of taking care of her on her wishes, and now he’s going to watch his brother and ex sit down to a drink and food.
This is where things will get a little tricky as Adam’s going to lose his cool and rip into Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) for continuing to see Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and taking more away from him.
But we think it’s more than that as all the years of being a second class citizen in the Newman family will come pouring out of him and his efforts to be a good man have led him no where.
Nick will be patient, but we have a feeling Adam will push too far and this could be the return of the old Adam, which would effectively flush all of his character growth over the last year.
It may also be the final straw for Nick in their relationship as he’ll be tired of walking into a room and risking Adam going off because he’s with Sally, even if it’s a professional relationship.
Will Billy and Lily survive this, or is the deck staced against them too much? Let us know in the comments below and check back with ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation.
