Things are going to get interesting pretty quick in Genoa City, and ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers aren’t surprised that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is going to hold Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) accountable for Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway)’s broken heart, and it should get interesting.
It was bound to happen when a heartbroken Abby gave Victor a vague answer. Victor wants the facts so he can fix things, even if it means he has to lie and bully to do so.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Victor Attacks Chance for Abby
In this case, he’s going to sit down with Chance and heart a father to son in law conversation that’ll be along the lines of accusing Chance of breaking Abby’s heart.
There won’t be a question in Victor’s mind that it has to be all on Chance, and to be fair any dad would feel the same way.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: The other side
In his zeal to get to the bottom of things, Victor won’t bother to learn the whole story from Abby, as he’ll want to protect her from dealing with anything.
What ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers are looking forward to seeing is how Victor will react when Chance tells him it’s wasn’t all him.
Of course, Victor will want to hear it while already making up his mind, but again he’s the over protective father so it’s expected to a point.
The problem will come up if Chance tells him we walked in on Abby and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) naked on the sofa together.
Victor will be shocked and will be sure Chance pushed her to it, which he did in a way. Though we’re sure being coerced into dropping the investigation into Ashland Locke (Richard Newman)’s death was a catalyst in many ways.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Time to fix it
Victor will want to fix it, but first he’ll tell Chance he has to return to Abby and mend that fence to help Victor help him.
This is where we think things will get dicey, especially if we’re wrong and Chance doesn’t tell Victor what he walked in on.
We can imagine Chance would tell Victor it’s not his business, but if Abby wants to tell him then talk to her; it’s not his story to tell.
Victor won’t like that, or the fact Chance won’t go back to Abby, which will give Victor an excuse to point out Chance disappoints him.
We think there’s a good chance Chance will be put in the Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) category simply because he hurt Victor’s daughter, but we’ll have to wait and see. Chance may ne more agreeable than we think he will be.
