‘General Hospital’ (GH) Spoilers here and we’re set to keep things rolling with some fun spoilery goodies to share.
There’s a lot of relationships that are going to be strained more than usual in this episode, but there will be some potential good news for some and it’s going to give us a good mix overall. Let’s dive in!
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers Wednesday, December 21: End of the line
It’s been a fun relationship thus far, and while we love seeing them together, Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) has too many secrets for them to become more than a shadow of her and Peter August (Wes Ramsey)’s relationship.
Poor Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) doesn’t even know about his secrets, but Austin going behind her back to have Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) run his algorithm on them for compatibility.
After dealing with Peter, that was one betrayal Maxie couldn’t deal with and now she and Austin will have a frank conversation about their future.
While there’s a chance they’ll get together down the road, at the moment they’re going to call it quits in what should be a feels jerking scene.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers Wednesday, December 21: Carly steps up her manipulation
After nearly having her plans shredded thanks to Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison)’s detective work, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) will try a new approach to keep her lies buried.
She should be lucky that Denise Makenzie (Alice Rietveld) was able to come up with a story so quick on her feet, but the fact it was also very true in a lot of ways and directed Drew too close to Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) won’t sit well with her.
So, Carly will do what she’s best at and try to redirect Drew’s search in another direction or dissuade him from digging up that past.
She’ll unknowingly endanger Willow Tate (Katelyn MacMullen)’s life, but we doubt it’d make much of a difference if she did know.
Coming clean would give Nina an in and show that their theory that she’s evil and passes it on is false.
That’s an awfully big piece of crow that’s going to get lodged in Carly’s throat when the truth comes out, and ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers can’t wait to see that happen.
When it does, it’s going to be fun to see who will forgive her and who won’t. One thing for sure is Carly will deserve to lose her family, but she won’t. Worse yet, we doubt she’ll learn from this or be humbled.
