‘General Hospital’ (GH) Spoilers loves nothing more than a good fan theory to get our juices flowing, and it looks like there’s something to a pair of new theories on who is the Hook with the direction the show’s taken.
We’ve been wondering what purpose did they have in mind for Heather Webber (Alley Mills) when she returned, and she answered a lot of questions about Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) and a chunk of Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom)’s past.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Is Heather the Hook or is she Controlling the Hook?
It also opened the door to plenty of speculation and more and more fans are running with it as it’s looking more and more like Heather has intimate knowledge on who the Hook is.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: It’s Heather
One of the prevalent theories is the Hook is really Heather as she’s looking to make anyone that harmed Esme pay for what they did, and when we consider the attack on Nikolas Cassadine (Marcos Coloma), it makes sense.
But that attack is key in another theory we’re inclined to agree with. We’ll get to that in a minute.
To be the Hook, this would mean Heather has perfected her escapes from Darkharm (anyone else thinking Arkham from Batman?), a high security mental facility.
Now, it’ll be far easier for her to escape from Spring Ridge, as she’s shown she can move about with a set of keys without problem.
And her trying to persuade the police to leave her in Spring Ridge to work with Ryan is doomed to failure unless something drastic happens.
Onto our favorite theory.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Esme has a twin sister
Yep, ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers are fully endorsing the theory that Esme has a twin sister only Heather knows about, and hence works with her/controls her much the same as Ryan and Esme’s relationship.
This makes sense for several reasons, the biggest for us is the attack on Nikolas we mentioned above.
The person that attacked him looked like Esme in a black suit. She was thin and lithe, just like Esme and Heather isn’t that thin.
It’s mainly why we thought it was Esme that attacked him, but now it looks more likely it’s her twin that’s been doing the attacks.
She could be Heather’s big secret and why she feels so confidant when dealing with Ryan beyond their past relationship.
This is going to make things so much more interesting and if true, we can’t help but wonder if we’ve already seen her portraying Esme as Esme has looked confused when she was told about something she allegedly did or said.
