We’re used to watching character building episodes and repeats like this to fill time, and there could be something new and interesting happening that’ll give us something to sink our teeth into down the road. Let’s dive into some spoilers!
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Tuesday, December 27: At least it’s not an ultimatum
It was a nice handful of months since Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) schemed to get Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) to remain with or return to the Newman family, but it’s time to dust this storyline off to kill some time.
Of course, it’s Adam’s fault this time as he dared to want his son and Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) to be together for Christmas on the ranch.
Long story short, there’s no way Victor will pass up an opportunity to manipulate one of his family members he claims to love above all else as he’ll use Connor against Adam.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers fully expect Victor to hold all the favors he did for Adam by allowing him to have Christmas on the ranch and then he’ll point to the fun Connor’s had.
His message will be simple: Rejoin the family and he can be this happy all the time. He may even offer to welcome Chelsea there to help Adam heal his family as an extra sweet carrot.
We doubt Adam will take a bite, but since it’s for Chelsea and their sons’ sake, he may give in. He’ll know he’s being used and manipulated once again, and once again he’ll show he can be a better man than his father when he puts in the effort.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Tuesday, December 27: Cats and dogs
We can’t argue that Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) and Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy)’s plan didn’t have an upside as for a short time it looked like it was going to work.
Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) were actually able to put aside their differences to recall a fun memory, but we’re afraid it won’t last for long.
While it’s good for them to remember better times, it looks like things will turn toward their professional lives and that’ll lead to the elephant in the room when Devon explains his regret businesswise.
We hope we’re wrong, but we think he’ll regret hiring Nate since that started their latest argument and fractured their relationship.
Nate will probably respond that he only wanted to have his ideas heard, and that’s about where things will break down between them.
Abby and Elena will try to intervene, but if it gets heated and Nate brings up Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan), it’s game over.
