‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set to dive into some spoilery goodies.
There’s a lot happening in Genoa City and even in a character building episode things will get a little spicy over the new threat unleashed on the Abbott family. We’ve got plenty of popcorn, so let’s dig in!
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Thursday, December 8: Victor’s in action
Thanks to Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford)’s blind hate, arrogance, and stupidity, Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) is in town looking for payback on Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters), but he may not stop there.
As a result, one third of the Mean Girls Club will look for safety at home as Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will have the full protection Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) can provide.
It doesn’t matter if she was in the wrong or not, because he’ll always stand by her and protect her unless she serves better use as a pawn.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Thursday, December 8: Nick treads carefully
Given the current state of his life, we doubt Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will want to broach the topic of Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) with his daughter with so much else going on.
So, CBS “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers think he’s going to test the waters before he jumps in, and it’ll lead to learning about Phyllis losing her mind in the name of vengeance.
We doubt Summer Newman (Alison Lanier) will hold back, but we also think she’s going to be frustrated and scared over what her mom did and what could happen as a result.
It’s understandable now that Jeremy’s at their doorstep, and knowing her mom apparently has no regard for the rest of the family as she thought Diane would run.
Had she actually stopped to think, things could be different. But now Nick will be put in the position to find out whether or not Phyllis really did it, and if so what was she thinking. Not an enviable position to be in.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Thursday, December 8: Kyle’s had enough
Now that his son is facing danger, very little is holding Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) back from saying what needs to be said, and next up on his “told odd” list is Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson).
She may be his aunt, but chances are if things keep going the way they are, she’ll be an aunt in name only.
Kyle’s going to rip into her about her never ending hatred for Diane and what it’s helped bring to the family. In the end, we think Kyle will offer a simple choice: her hate or the family.
We don’t see him backing down now that his son’s been brought into it, and even if Ashley blames Phyllis we don’t think that’ll be enough to save her.
Will Ashley finally open her eyes, or will she just dig in deeper? Let us know in the comments below and check back with ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation.
