Justin Gaethje has somewhat hot feet on the subject. He insists that he never met Chechen warlord Ramzan Kadyrov despite online photos showing the contrary. In addition, he is a regular visitor to Chechnya and visited the country recently.
Justin Gaethje doesn’t confess that he has toes with Ramzan Kadyrov. He branded the accusations as utterly untrue, and total lies.
Justin Gaethje Denies Association With Ramzan Kadyrov Despite Photos Showing Him In Chechnya Shooting Guns
Photos of the former UFC interim champion, Justin Gaethje, leaked into the public, showing him on a visit to Chechnya, testing out guns. Somebody took the photos in a facility near Gudermes, showing him shooting guns and competing with fellow UFC fighters on the range.
Ramzan Kadyrov is not present in the photos. And this is luckily, because if he was, there would have been no justification for Justin Gaethje. Karim Zidan is a local reporter and a journalist who reported that Ramzan Kadyrov was present in the country during the UFC fighters’ visit. Furthermore, he claims that he had lunch in a local restaurant and was accompanied by UFC fighters Kamaru Usman and Henry Cejudo.
Justin Garthje got into a Twitter brawl with Barstool Sports CEO, Dave Portnoy, arguing over the controversial UFC 282 event. The main disagreement came about the Paddy Pimblett fight. As we know, Paddy the Baddy Pimblett took the win via decision. However, people argue that the decision was not correct.
Justin Gaethje replied to a video of Dave Portnoy celebrating Paddy’s controversial win.
“This makes the Barstool guys look really bad. Just bending over for the lad. Fight of the night? Barstool can give him 50k but that performance will never get you a bonus in the octagon.” – Gaethje commented on the video.
Dave Portnoy took notice of Gaethje’s comment and replied. “People are telling me Justin Gaethje was recently seen hanging out with a warlord accused of brutal crimes against humanity so it’s hypocritical for him to say we look bad for supporting Paddy when he supports a warlord. I’m gonna take the high road and not mention it. #Daveyhighroad.”
Justin Gaethje didn’t like the accusations and made a quick reply to Portnoy. He denied having anything with Ramzan Kadyrov and dismissed the rumors.
“That’s an outright lie and slander. #davesab*tch.” – Justin Gaethje replied. “Never met the guy. Go f*** yourself.”
People reacted to this exchange and had some strong reasons to believe that it might be true. Many shared a photo of Justin Gaethje shooting a gun at the range in Chechnya implying that this is proof enough. However, Justin Gaethje replied that he was just ‘testing guns’ and he was there ‘for the kids’ birthday party’.
“I said people are saying it. I intentionally didn’t say it and I took the high road. But the entire internet/world are saying it. I won’t post where I saw it.” – Portnoy hit back.
“I might take the high when I see you at one of these events.” – Justin Gaethje ended the conversation.
