Things are getting strange in Salem as ‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) Spoilers isn’t used to seeing Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) making strange decisions.
But then he does seem to do some questionable things every year or two, like staying away from Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) for a year when they were married, but it could be argued that was foreshadowing their eventual fall.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Is Eric Making a Mistake Hiring Sloan to Represent Him?
But now he’s on the verge of making a decision that’ll cause all sorts of friction between himself and his sister, especially after he hurtfully reminded Belle Black (Martha Madison) that she slept with EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel).
Granted, he was drunk at the time and had a lot of anger to work out, but that mistake left him without a lawyer, and since he doesn’t know EJ will drop the charges, he’s going to take Sloan Peterson (Jessica Serfaty)’s offer to be his lawyer.

Considering how he and Paulina bonded some in jail, this will make Paulina wonder what’s going on with him, and Belle’s going to feel betrayed despite her justified fury at leaving him to fend for himself. The emotions are going to get far more complicated as this goes on for the following reason,
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: A new relationship?
Another reason we think this could come back to bite Eric is because it’s Sloan, and she’s not going to be a popular choice in Salem.
Honestly, we love her and she’s been a great addition, but more than that Eric’s reasoning will go beyond just vindictiveness.
While that will play a part, we think he sees a injured soul, which she is, and he’ll find redemption in himself by helping her deal with and recover from her trauma as well as seeking justice.
In the end, Sloan’s not an evil woman. She’s looking for justice and vengeance for what she believes happened to her mom and that’s understandable, and that’s the part of her we think Eric sees.
Do you think Eric is making a mistake, and is he going to try to help Sloan through her darkness? Let us know in the comments below and check back with ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation.
