If she wanted to move on and marry another, she wouldn’t get an argument with me.”

The mother of one confirmed that she had left Kody. She further said they were still together when he said he no longer “considered” them married. She said in the clip, “It just doesn’t make sense to me that he would be so frustrated with Christine [Brown] and be like, ‘She just made this decision. We didn’t consult. We didn’t talk.’ … And then he says, ‘No, I don’t consider myself married to Meri.’”

He just made the decision. I have never heard him say that to me.” The 51-year-old said she thought Kody was making efforts to make their union work after they relocated to Flagstaff in 2018. She told tell-all host Sukanya Krishnan, “Even since being in Flagstaff, he has led me to believe that he was trying. Our first anniversary that we had here in Flagstaff, [he said], ‘Cheers to a new beginning.’”
She further said they became torn apart in the years that followed. Meri claimed, “As opposed to this last anniversary, he’s like, ‘I don’t even know why you called me, Meri.’ He’s like, ‘We’re not married. We’re not acting as married. And I said to him then, ‘If that’s where we are, don’t you think that we should address that publicly?’” She said Kody replied to her, “I don’t want that to be out there publicly because I don’t want that judgment.”
Meri was asked where Kody’s comments leave them. She answered, “He’s already made the decision. I would [think about reconciliation]. I don’t think that he is interested.” The patriarch is now left with Robyn Brown. They had a spiritual wedding in 2010, and legally tied the knot in 2014. Fans will remember that Kody had to divorce Meri in 2014 so he could marry Robyn legally.
