    WWE Smackdown Results (12/30) – Smackdown Women’s Championship – Ronda Rousey (c) w/Shayna Baszler Defeated Raquel Rodriguez by Submission; Smackdown Women’s Championship – Charlotte Flair RETURNS and DEFEATED Ronda Rousey (c) w/Shayna Baszler by Pinfall; Imperium DESTROYED Braun Strowman; Kevin Owens and John Cena Defeated Roman Reigns and Sami Zayn w/The Bloodline by Pinfall

    WWE Smackdown Results returned as the introductions were made.

    Once the match started, Rousey went right after Raquel and focused on her injured elbow, but Raquel’s power evened the playing field and gave her an edge with a spinning slam for a pin attempt.

    Rousey regained the advantage by keeping her focus on Raquel’s injured left arm with various holds and attacks.

    Raquel turned it around thanks to her power and hammered away on Rousey before Rousey countered a spinning slam with an armbar, but Raquel blocked it and locked in a Sharpshooter of sorts.

    Rousey pulled them to the floor with an armbar, and Raquel slammed her onto the apron to break the hold.

    Rousey locked in an armbar on the top rope, and when they fell to the mat Raquel landed on her injured elbow and tapped out.

    After the match, Charlotte Flair came out in her return to a loud pop from the crowd, and Rousey wasted no time in mocking her arm injury and when she wants to challenge her at Royal Rumble.

    Flair challenged her tonight.

    Rousey accepted and Flair hit her with a big boot for a near pinfall off the bat.

    Flair went for a spear, but Rousey countered into an armbar and Flair rolled her up for the win and celebrated with the fans.

    Backstage, Roman Reigns told Sami that he’s not worried about the fans cheering for him, and if he’s half as intense as he was last time he’ll get the night off.

    In the locker room, New Day tried to get Top Dolla to jump a broom and teased him about his attempted dive last week, and the rest got into it.

    Top Dolla had enough and shoved Ricochet.

    Imperium attacks Strowman

    Once in the ring, Wilhelm and Vinci praised GUNTHER’s Intercontinental Championship reign and a video package focusing on GUNTHER followed to celebrate his 2022.

    Before they could continue, Braun Strowman came out and mentioned he wasn’t in GUNTHER’s video, which means he didn’t beat him and he laid down a challenge.

    Imperium started to leave, and Strowman grabbed him and Imperium went after him. Strowman sent them to the floor and GUNTHER went for a chop, but Strowman caught his arm and dropped him with a clothesline.

    GUNTHER rolled to the floor, and the Strowman express got rolling until GUNTHER sidestepped him and sent him through the barricade, then wore a chair out on him while Imperium held him.

    They sent Strowman into the ring steps and GUNTHER locked in an arm lock while Imperium kept the officials out of the ring.

    Ricochet ran out with a chair and cleared the ring.

    Kevin Owens and John Cena vs. Roman Reigns and Sami Zayn w/The Bloodline

    Zayn and Owens started it off, and Zayn caught him with a clothesline, and Owens nailed him with several right hands and caught him with a knee off the ropes and a senton.

    Owens taunted Reigns amid Sami chants and Zayn tagged him in, and after Owens put on a show to tag in Cena, Reigns hit him with a clothesline and stomped away on him.

    Reigns hit a Yurinagi for a pin attempt.

    Cena was about to tag in when Reigns pulled him off the apron and Zayn hit a Helluva Kick. He went for another one on Owens, but Owens caught him with a superkick

    Owens hit Zayn with another superkick and a popup powerbomb for a near pinfall Reigns broke up. Reigns dragged Zayn to their corner to tag in, and went for a Superman Punch.

    Owens ducked and hit a superkick and followed it with a frogsplash for a near pinfall.

    Reigns missed a spear on Owens and hit he ring post and that bought enough time for Cena to get on the apron and tag in.

    Cena hit a pair of shoulder tackles on Zayn and a slam, and he mocked Reigns with a You Don’t See Me, and hit an Olympic Slam on Reigns when he ran in.

    Owens tagged in, and they hit a double Five Knuckle Shuffle and Cena hit Reigns with a Attitude Adjustment while Owens nailed Zayn with a stunner for the win.

    This was a pretty good match to close the night out and further set up Owens and Zayn and Reigns for down the road.
