‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set to keep things rolling with some fun spoilery goodies to share.
There’s going to be some fun action in Genoa City as well as political maneuvering to keep Chancellor-Winters together. We’re grabbing some popcorn, so let’s dive in!
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Wednesday, January 18: Shenanigans afoot!
Looks like it’s time for Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) to snap their trap shut on Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) and it looks like it’ll be a happily ever after ending they’ve been working towards.
Of course, we suspect something will go amiss and it’ll leave Jack and Diane in a lurch. While it looks like everything’s fine, there’s a chance that Stark will be setting them up for the fall and that he’s on someone’s payroll to do so.
It’s a long shot, but ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers don’t see things ending this quickly and easily for Stark.
If he doesn’t have something planned for them, he’s going to get a nasty surprise after Jack calls the police and they arrest Stark for the burglary. And since it violates his parole he’ll be facing some serious time.
As things go, this is a pretty neat little package and we hope it closes this chapter. If only that pesky feeling about the other shoe going to drop would go away…
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Wednesday, January 18: Jill pushes the boundaries
Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) has proven time and again that she can be as ruthless as anyone in Genoa City when it comes to getting what she wants, and we expect she’ll pull on some of those old habits here.
Sure, she’ll try to smooth things out with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James), which will mainly be able trying to convince Devon to stick it out.
But Devon did threaten to spill the beans about the problem Chancellor-Winters has had, and we don’t think that’s something Jill will forget or forgive if Devon remains locked into his position.
There’s a chance Jill will go Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) on Devon and fire him as co-CEO.
It’ll be a huge shock and something she’s completely in her power to do since the company isn’t public and she owns it.
She may even go a step further and have two press released ready to go out. If Devon walks away or chooses to stay, it’ll be a flowery one detailing what an important member of Chancellor-Winters he is.
If he continues to want to play hardball and hurt her company, the second will detail his toxic traits and how he nearly brought the freshly merged company down to get his way.
It’s extreme, but we can see Jill doing this if she feels she has no choice, and she’ll smooth things over with Lily afterwards.
What do you think Jill has up her sleeve? Let us know in the comments below and check back with ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation.
