‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set to dive into a character building episode and we have plenty of spoilery goodies to help set the stage.
There’s going to be some good story development in this episode as some chapters close and others open, not to mention the bridges that’ll survive for another day. Let’s dig into some spoilers!
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Thursday, January 19: A mutual understanding
In an unexpected surprise, it looks like Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) have come to an agreement on how much time Chelsea will be able to spend with Johnny Abbott (Paxton Mishkind).
It’s been a point of contention with Victoria as she’s been hesitant to give in to Chelsea’s ideas, and now she’ll give Chelsea more time with him.
Her stance against Chelsea has been softening after she learned what Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) did for her.
Of course, there’s always going to be some kind of limit Victoria will put in place, and we’re curious how hard those will be of if she’ll be willing to revisit them in the future.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Thursday, January 19: Clearing the air
Speaking of Billy, he and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will lay it all out so there are no misunderstandings going forward, and this makes CBS “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers suspect this will be about their relationship.
Our understanding was that it was over with, but there could be some final points they’ll want to clear up, and one of that is they both still love each other.
There is another possibility as well, and it would involve Chancellor-Winters and the issue with Devon Hamilton (Bryton James).
Lily’s been careful not to include Billy in any company business since he left, but we think this will be more along the lines of how to navigate the waters with her brother.
Billy has plenty of experience in that area, and the current version of Devon is a lot like the old Billy in that he doesn’t care what damage he causes as long as he does it his way.
Few can match some of Billy’s antics, but he’ll be able to give Lily an insight on how best to approach Devon and him using their sibling relationship as a weapon.
There’s plenty of room to go with this as it’ll show how much Lily values Billy’s opinion, but they could have moved beyond that point.
