‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set to get a new week started with some fun spoilery goodies to share.
It looks like this will be a fun one as there will be plenty of scheming and plotting to keep things moving at a good pace. Let’s dig into some spoilers!
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Monday, January 23: Victor seizes an opportunity
This one has ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers the most curious as there are a few possibilities from Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) learning about Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters)’s plan to discovering something innocent looking.
No matter what it is, we expect it’ll have an impact on Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) in some way, and since Victor is capable of weaponizing any piece of information it should prove interesting.
While Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) sharing what she knows about the Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) situation would give Victor a lot of ammunition, we suspect it’ll most likely be something benign.
He may have noticed something that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) can use to oust Adam, and if that fails, there’s always using Nikki’s info to black mail Jack into firing Adam.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Monday, January 23: Nikki puts it together
To be honest, Nikki telling Victor everything seems premature, it’s a possibility given what she knows. She could simply voice what she thinks happened to Victor and he’ll take it from there.
But there’s more of a chance that she’ll be doing her own sleuthing as she’ll start to pick at the edges of Jack and Diane’s story to see what she can find.
We don’t see her doing anything to get Jeremy released as that would put her on Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford)’s level, but she’ll figure out a way to use it or will hold onto it until she can.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Monday, January 23: Abrupt halt
Things have been going well for Jack and Diane, but after their night together it looks like she’s going to pump the breaks on their relationship.
It could be for a variety of things, but we think she’ll be concerned about Nikki and what damage she could do to him and her son.
For that reason, we think she’ll try to convince Jack the importance of not being together publicly for a short time to let things blow over.
Jack won’t want to hear it as they’ve weathered the other storms and nothing’s different about this one. We have a feeling an announcement about Stark escaping could be coming, and that would be a great reason to put things on hold.
