‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re all set to dive into some fun spoilery goodies to help keep things rolling.
We’re in for some interesting moments as some relationships will continue to grow and we’ll get to see glimpses of what’s to come. Without further ado, let’s dive in!
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Tuesday, January 31: Target acquired
Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) came to Genoa City looking to add resources to his struggling empire and bring Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) into the fold.
So far, he’s failed on all counts and the idea of adding assets has put him in the crosshairs of Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).
It’s unintended, but now that Victor knows Tucker is on the verge of going under in debt, he’s looking for a way to take over his company, and maybe add another one or two along the way.
It’s setting up for a classic battle we used to see regularly, but the last few years the show has avoided most good drama or tough confrontations by having them occur offscreen and we’re filled in second hand.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers hope we get to see Victor’s attempt at a takeover and Tucker’s defense in action, but we may be disappointed.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Tuesday, January 31: Growing closer
Nothing like a potential failed business relationship to make things interesting, and Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) are going to deal with some growing pains.
Chancellor-Winters is in flux, and while Daniel’s willing to give Lily time to sort things out, he’s going to feel pressure to make sure he’s in the right place.
While most of the pressure will be from himself, he knows it’s only a matter of time until Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) does something else he’ll regret.
Given she’s going to visit is current ex and family, we expect he and Lily will start to grow close just in time for her to return with them and create a scene.
There’s every chance Phyllis will mess things up for Daniel and Lily coming and going, and we’re looking forward to seeing how much damage she’ll cause.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Tuesday, January 31: Nick to the rescue
Following Victor’s meddling in Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) professional life, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will ride in on his stallion and do what he can to set things right.
To do that, we suspect he’ll call Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) and tell her his father’s trying to manipulate everyone again and offer his backing to Sally’s ideas.
That should at least give Jill a reason to open the door for Sally to give her presentation, and after that it’s anyone’s guess how things go.
