Hello and welcome to WWE Raw Results!
Nothing like kicking off the new year with a pair of championship matches as Seth Rollins challenges Austin Theory for the United States Championship, and Bianca Belair defends the Raw Women’s Championship against Alexa Bliss.
Without further ado, let’s get to the action!
During the opening graphic, cameras switched to ringside as the Bloodline destroyed the announce desk and ring steps and the Usos announced they’re taking over Raw.
As soon as Sami Zayn said this is a message to everyone in the back that the Bloodline runs the show, Kevin Owens came out.

Zayn told him not to say anything and this is a hostile takeover and Zayn warned him people will get hurt and it’s Owens’ fault.
That worked well as Owens started to head to the ring as Adam Pearce and security came out to put a stop to things.
He told them they’re not doing this in the new year and they’re going to leave the ring peacefully and sent security into the ring and Solo fought them off himself and held the ring.
Owens ran in and took on all four and was quickly overwhelmed as the locker room came out and chased the Bloodline to the floor.
Pearce informed them that he’s putting them in a match tonight.
Backstage, the locker room argued with Pearce on who should face the Bloodline and the Street Profits, Owens, and Elias made their cases with Elias wanting Solo Sikoa, and Pearce gave hi the match as a Music City Street Fight.
The other will be the Street Profits and Owens against the Usos and Zayn.
Raw Women’s Championship – Bianca Belair (c) vs. Alexa Bliss
Belair nailed Bliss with a right early on, and after holding her back with one hand, she continued to dominate until Bliss dropkicked her to the floor.
Belair caught her baseball slide and slung her into the barricade.
Bliss gained the upper hand and countered a suplex attempt for a pin attempt and kept the pressure on as she took the fight to Belair.

Belair turned it around with her power and put together a combination before hitting a somersault splash for a near pinfall.
Bliss sent Belair to the floor and hit a senton off the apron to regain the advantage.
Bliss fought out of a KOD, so Belair hit a backbreaker instead, but after she hammered on Bliss, Bliss flipped her to the floor by her hair.

She was distracted by someone at ringside wearing an Uncle Howdy mask, and then another when she was on the top rope.
Bliss climbed down and Bray Wyatt’s buttterfly flashed across the titantron, seemingly staggering her as if it triggered something and she attacked the ref, then Belair.
She threw Belair into the ring post, the ring steps, then hit a DDT on the ring steps and then a second one.
