Cody Rhodes came out to a decent pop and some “You deserve it!” chants from the fans, and he quickly pointed out how someone new is always watching and he recapped his career.
He explained how he thought he’d be the world champion in two years and that he’d be the next John Cena, and went on what he’d tell himself back then to prepare him for this.
The part of him outlasting 29 others when he came in at number 30 isn’t wrong but is a stretch, but he’s the first in his family to get a shot at the world title at WrestleMania.
He then said he wouldn’t tell himself a single thing because every step on the ladder was worth it.
The fans chanted “Roman sucks!” when he brought him up, and that WrestleMania is just 62 days away and he’ll be crowned WWE Universal Champion.
Judgement Day came out and Balor asked Cody if he’s going to do something original or keep stealing his past.
Dominik called him out for ruining his Royal Rumble moment and Priest jumped in on mocking Cody for being handed number 30.
Dom told Cody he doesn’t have respect for Rey Mysterio or Dusty Rhodes and Cody challenged one of them to a match.
Just when it looked like things were settled, Edge came out and attacked Judgement day and a brawl broke out with security mixed in things.
Elimination Chamber Qualification Match – Seth Rollins vs. Chad Gable
Their initial lockup was pretty even, but Gable managed to get the early advantage with a German Suplex and bridge for a near pinfall, then a senton off the apron.
He followed it with a diving headbutt for a pin attempt.

Rollins regrouped and buckle bombed Gable but his injured knee gave out so her couldn’t follow up.
He managed to hit a Falcon’s Arrow for a pin attempt, but missed a Stomp and went for a Pedigree. Gable countered it into a pinning combination and they traded pin attempts.
Gable kept after Rollins with ankle locks, but Rollins managed to hit a Pedigree for the win to move to qualify.
