‘General Hospital’ (GH) Spoilers here and we’re ready to keep things moving with some fun spoilery goodies to share.
This episode is going to have some tough decisions being made, and it’s going to be a showcase of some lazy writing when Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) is put on the spot. With plenty going on, let’s dive in!
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers Tuesday, February 14: Asking the bride and groom if they should not be wed?
This part of the daily preview really got us since the line is typically “does anyone here have reason these two should not be wed” instead of the couple being asked that.
In fact, the show’s going to do both as Laura Collins (Genie Francis) asked if anyone had a reason, and in this episode she’ll asked Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and Portia if they have objections.
This is lazy writing as it’s nothing more than an easy out for the writers to put more undue pressure on Portia to give her conscience a boot to get her to break.
Sure, it’s supposed to ramp up the drama, but in a show that’s usually so meticulous this line feels out of place and takes away any suspension of disbelief.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers Tuesday, February 14: Not buying it
Heather Webber (Ally Mills) will be working overtime to keep Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) in the dark about her plans with Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl), and things will come to a head when she gives him her Valentine’s Day present.
He’ll call her out on her lie, and ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers expect she’ll explain everything to him about Esme’s memory issue and how she had to tweak her plans.
Ryan will understand the need to change plans on the fly, and he’ll want to know what she’s planning to do. Since he wasn’t sold on her initial idea, we doubt he’ll sign off on her current one.
We have a feeling he’ll make a move against her before too long as he’ll grow more and more frustrated with her antics.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers Tuesday, February 14: Getting closer
Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) are going to follow up a lead on Esme’s nanny and they’ll be getting close enough to make some people nervous.
Let’s face it, it’s not every day a police officer and private detective come looking for someone and we expect it to make their jobs a tiny but more difficult.
Not to the point that it’ll deter them, and there’s a good chance they’ll find her nanny in this episode or at least spot her and move in. How successful they’ll be should make for some interesting television.
Will Heather manage to convince Ryan her plan will work? Let us know in the comments below and check back with ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation.
