‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set to close the week out with some fun spoilery goodies to share.
This episode is going to be a fun one with some moments that could reshape the power structure in Genoa City for the foreseeable future and another we’ve been waiting to happen. Let’s grab some popcorn and dive into the spoilers!
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Friday, February 10: Victor’s plan half worked
While it’s safe to say that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden)’s plan won’t be a complete failure in his eyes as it’ll cause plenty of chaos in Jabot and for the Abbotts in general.
While his ultimate goal in recruiting Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) was to have Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) ousted and return to Newman Enterprises, the chaos his actions will cause could be even more to his liking.
Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) is one of the most understanding people in Genoa City, and while having Kyle question his judgement hurts, knowing he’s actively trying to sabotage Jack’s decisions and lying to him will be too much.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers expect that since he’s listening in, Adam will intercede in the argument and offer his resignation to keep Victor from destroying another father and son relationship.
Kyle will be elated, but Jack will refuse it and will fire Kyle instead.
It’s a reach, but at this point it wouldn’t surprise us as it’ll give the show a much needed shakeup and allow new storylines to grow as Kyle and Adam will learn to navigate their new environments, assuming Kyle will go to work at Newman Enterprises.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Friday, February 10: Getting what she deserves
Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) was warned to stay out of her son’s love life before she did just that, and not that she’s returning to Genoa City, Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) won’t be pleased to hear of her actions.
We’re curious if she’ll bring his family with her or if she’ll come out and tell him she went to see them to help, but however he learns about it, he won’t be pleased and he’ll rip into her for ignoring his wishes and boundaries.
She’ll defend her actions as wanting to help him, but given he’s worked hard to move forward from that relationship and his previous warnings to her, we doubt this will end well for Phyllis’ employment status.
Daniel will appreciate her effort, but we don’t think he’ll be able to ignore her overreaching and things could turn sour for them pretty fast if he doesn’t give in.
